On the week beginning 3rd August 2015 we took a group of 10 year 8 and 9 boys for a 5 day residential to Skern Lodge in Devon. With support from Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs and funding obtained from the Big Lottery Fund we were able to offer this opportunity to young people where they may not have otherwise had the chance. Summer Activities
We had a very packed summer program this year with a number of new activities for young people to try. We took a variety of age groups on many activities that included: Foot-golf, Pitch and Putt, Disk golf, Kayaking, Drayton Manor, Bowling and Laser quest. WCYP -Doorstep Sports Club
Graham from WCYP will be back again on Thursday evenings from 6:00 till 7:00 for some more doorstep sports sessions. John and Leah were once again promoting the clubs specialist support services but this time they were at Warwickshire College, Rugby for their fresher’s fair. Senior Members Training 17th August – 21st August
Another summer and another senior members training with Graham from Warwickshire Clubs for Young People. This year we sent a youth work student with Graham to not only take part but also help to lead this long running training program for young leaders. The Bradby Club Summer BBQ
General youth club nights finished for the summer in late July and so in true Bradby Club tradition we held our annual summer BBQ. 58th Annual General Meeting Held 24th June 2015
In June we held our annual general meeting at the club; showcasing some of the work we are doing but also celebrating our young people’s achievements. JCA Condover Hall Residential 20th – 22nd March 2015
During March we took a group of excitable and eager junior members for a weekend of activities at JCA Condover Hall activity centre in Shropshire. The young people were faced with a number of challenges and problems throughout and had to work as a team to overcome these. Bradby Fencing Project
En Garde! During November and December 2014 a number of our young people from the club took part in a 7 week fencing project delivered by Premier Sports. Young people taking part were taught about the rules, tactics and techniques of this Olympic sport. Junior Parkour/free running/gymnastics project
